CURVED STAIRLIFT – ATHY, COUNTY KILDARE

This is an example of a Handicare 2000 installation in Athy, County Kildare. A key requirement for the customers (both husband and wife) was that the stairlift would bring them onto their landing. This required an extra turn in the stairlift and demonstrates how important the home assessment is.

At the home assessment, our engineer was able to measure the stairs and provide a computerised 3D model so that the home owners could see how the curved stairlift would fit in their home. It was during this process that they requested the extra turn. Our engineer was then able to add the custom design request and order a curved stairlift to meet the homeowners’ exact requirement.

STRAIGHT STAIRLIFT ATHY – COUNTY KILDARE

This installation in Athy, County Kildare is shows the neatness of a Handicare straight stairlift. As you can see from the installation images, the straight stairlift sits snugly against the wall and there is plenty of room for other residents to use the stairs.

CURVED STAIRLIFT – CELBRIDGE, COUNTY KILDARE

A Handicare 2000 curved stairlift in Celbridge, County Kildare. All the Handicare stairlifts come with a pair of remote controls. The stairlift can be operated from the chair itself or by the remote controls. This feature is important if you need to make space free at the bottom of the stairs. You simply use the remote control and return the stairlift to the top of the stairs, thus freeing up the space. The remote control can be mounted on the newel post or in the installation, just on the wall adjacent to the stairs.
